Yesterday my friend and I went to Dillards to get out makeup done. For now reason, just because. I took pictures of my makeup [they arent the best pictures but I wanted to show you guys what she did so I could tell you about the products] I'm going to get the actual makeup pictures for you guys to see, off their website
So Here We Go!
Alrighty. There are the pictures of the makeup she did on me. I dont know to much about makeup, I kind of just try and do it my own way. No matter how much I watch someone do it, I can still never do it. LOL. I dont know why.
First she cleaned my face with just normal whatever you use face wash since I had makeup on. Then she used a product called Peel and Reveal Revitalizing Treatment by Elizabeth Arden. She left this on for 20-25 min & then it just peels right off [it feels soo good when it peels off!]
$32.00
The next thing she did was put foundation on. She used 4-in-1 Pur Mineral Foundation Yes, I ended up buying it. Ive never had expensive makeup. So I figured I would buy it. Ive heard alot about bare minerals but never wanted to buy it because I dont like that its loose and messy. This I can still use a brush with and its not to messy. This was full coverage and looked amazing! You probably can't tell in pictures because this was several hours after but it was great!
Elizabeth Arden Advanced Eye Fix Eye Primer
$21.50
(you can find much cheaper)
Eyes:
1. Champagne Citrine
2. Chocolate Topaz
3.Gold Marcasite
These are the three eye shadows she used on my eyes.
The Eyeliners she used were:
[LEFT] Graphite [RIGHT] Hello Bright Eyes
Mascara:
Pur Minerals Mascara
[$16.00 again, you can find cheaper]
Lips:
The lipstick was applied first it's called Pink Isocite and the Lipgloss is Rose Opal. I ended up buying the Rose Opal lipgloss for $16.00. I really liked it, Its a neutral color and i've been looking for one that I liked and I couldnt find one. So finally I did :)
Theres my blog about my makeup! Hope you enjoyed! Pur Minerals is great makeup and not too pricey! I would recommend it! :)

During five years experimenting with numerous selections of mineral makeup brands for myself and for my clients (from every ethnic race, age and skin type), I came to the conclusion that NOT all mineral makeup is created equal. What I discovered is that the one ingredient that was continually the root cause of negative skin reactions, allergies and sensitivities was bismuth oxychloride. To better understand this ingredient, let's take a closer look at it. Bismuth oxychloride is a colorant, adding a white pigment to cosmetics. Typically, it is available in diamond and pearl finishes. The diamond is shimmery and the pearl is more matte. It is often contained in cosmetics because it provides a silky feel, a good slip (easily applied nicely to the skin without dragging it) and the ability to adhere to your skin. Bismuth oxychloride is used in much higher concentrations in mineral makeup, which could explain why there are more frequent reactions from mineral makeup containing bismuth oxychloride, rather than liquid or cream foundation. In my professional and personal experience using all types of mineral makeup, from the high end department stores to the inexpensive discount stores, I prefer organic mineral makeup that is fragrance-free, paraben-free, talc-free, bismuth oxychloride-free and contains no harsh ingredients. Professionally, one of my tips from the trade is that mineral makeup is best applied to freshly cleansed skin, which has been moisturized for added hydration. If your skin is oily or combination, choose an oil-free, lightweight lotion that absorbs easily into the skin.
To the person who left me a long comment about mineral makeup and all about it, i enjoyed it and i DID accept it but I needed to edit my post and when I came back to make sure it was still there, it was gone! If you know what you said and feel like typing it again could you so everyone else could see it?
im sorry!
